Two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion and one of the league’s promising young players, Zach LaVine is a 6’5 shooting guard who is continuing to search for new ways to unlock his exceptional talent and potential. Though the Chicago Bulls struggled, Zach LaVine took a really leap forward in his professional career by scoring 23.7 points per game in addition to his 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists. His combination of skill and athleticism makes him one the league’s exciting players.

“I took a step last year, but I feel like that was a stepping stone for what I want to do and what I envision myself doing,” LaVine said recently.

Drafted out of UCLA in 2014 with the 13th overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves, LaVine has averaged double figures in scoring in each year of his career and has improved on his numbers in subsequent seasons. He played for Minnesota for three seasons before being traded to the Chicago Bulls ahead of the 2017-18 NBA season. The Bulls received LaVine, Kris Dunn and the #7 pick (which turned out to be another promising young player in Lauri Markkanen) for Jimmy Butler.

He not only wants to show off his talent on the court, but wants to do so for a winning team, “I want to play in meaningful games. Every NBA game is meaningful, but you want to go to the playoffs and play where big plays are made,” LaVine said “I consider myself someone who can make those big plays and I want to be able to go out and do that.”
