4-team double elimination bracket

Putting together a double elimination tournament with four teams means you’ll need a four team double elimination bracket that can be viewed, downloaded, printed and handed to the participating teams and their fans so they call can best follow the small tournament. These brackets will an item that they’ll reference throughout the tournament. What is a Double Elimination Bracket?

So how does a double elimination bracket work with four teams? Double elimination brackets are exactly as they’re named — a team is only truly eliminated when they lose twice. These type of brackets are more inherently more-complicated than single elimination brackets because teams that lose move into a separate bracket while the one team that advances through the top bracket will await the one team from the loser bracket to come out.

With each participating team allowed two losses before they’re fully out of the tournament, 4-team bracket has a few rounds of games that ends with a finale featuring an undefeated team from the “winners” bracket and one team from the “losers” bracket.
