The Brooklyn Nets’ journey ended in the first round of the NBA Playoffs last season; getting swept by the Toronto Raptors.
Even so, Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen had some amazing moments and they took big steps in the offense. However, the Nets defensive performance simply wasn’t the same as their offensive output. They let the Raptors score an average of 122.9 per 100 possessions and this was the third highest mark for a team in any playoff series in the last 10 years.
Even without lot of changes to the Nets roster from last season, fans are expecting them to dominate the schedule.
Brooklyn Nets TV schedule 2020-21
We’ve gone all these words talking about the roster without mentioning Kevin Durant somehow. Has to be a record. The Durantula will be ready for the start of the new season, coming back from the Achilles tear he suffered in the 2019 Finals. Kyrie Irving is also back after managing to play only 20 games last season.
With Durant and Irving being unquestionably the team’s two best players and prepared for the new season, the expectations are very high for the Nets to not only make the playoffs as a top seed, but advance to the Conference Finals at a minimum.
