The 2019-20 season was one the Los Angeles Clippers would like to never be reminded about. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, along with Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, they were one of the title favorites before inexplicably crashing and burning. They lost a 3-1 lead against the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs.
With a whole new season ahead of us, expectations are high for the Clippers. Apart from the coaching position, the teams didn’t have any drastic changes. Kawhi and PG13 remain the main offensive weapons on the team, while new signing Serge Ibaka is expected to provide support on the front end especially since they lost Harrell to in-town rival Lakers.
LA Clippers TV schedule 2020-21
In the offseason, the Clippers let go of coach Doc Rivers and was replaced by Ty Lue. They also re-signed George to a questionable huge max contract. They still have PG13, Kawhi, LouWill, Patrick Beverley and Ivica Zubac and picked up Ibaka, Nicholas Batum. Considering the moves that the Lakers and Bucks made in the last couple months, the changes to the Clippers roster still have them as contenders but no longer schedule favorites to win the NBA championship.

Their first match of the season is on December 22. The Clippers will meet their Los Angeles rivals the Lakers in their very own Staples Center Arena. Technically an away game, the reigning champions would like to open the season with a win, though were sure Kawhi and the Clippers would like to make an early statement.
