No matter where you fall on Oral Roberts problematic homophobic past, when filtering down to basketball, the #15 seed and private evangelical university has been one of the big stories of the tourney; advancing to the Sweet 16. The Golden Eagles are not the only double-digit seeded team left in the bracket as Oregon State (#12), Syracuse (#11) and the Johnny Juzang-led UCLA Bruins (#11) continue their Cinderella story in Indianapolis.
These upsets have been anchored by the dominant performances of the number one seeds Gonzaga Zags and Baylor Bears, and less so, Michigan (sorry, Illinois fans). Here’s the sixteen teams that make up the Sweet 16 bracket and the schedule for 2021.
