Elite Eight bracket for March Madness 2019

We’re days away from the Elite Eight where eight college teams look to advance into the Final Four. Here’s a little bit of NCAA history for you – did you know that the initial March Madness tournament started out with an eight-team bracket and had a total of seven games from start to finish?

The 2019 edition of the March Madness has significantly more than seven games to complete – there are 68 teams that were vying to get to Minneapolis. In today’s NCAA tournament, seven games doesn’t even make up a quarter of the first round matches. Now it takes four rounds of action and approximately 60 games before we reach an elite eight.

When we searched for a quality Elite 8 bracket, we found there wasn’t very many appetizing options. So that brought us to publishing and designing our own bracket. You’ll see that our Elite Eight bracket is free of any bloatware: no unnecessary text, no branded images, or logos, and there’s no time stamp, so you can use this same bracket in 2020 or 2025.  Our goal was to have a timeless version that anyone at anytime could make use of it. If this is our legacy, we’re okay with that.
