The Cleveland Cavaliers have been busy this offseason. After picking Anthony Bennett with the No. 1 overall pick in June’s draft, they went out and signed point guard Jarrett Jack and forward Earl Clark. Both Jack and Clark are coming off solid seasons for the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers respectively.
Now, the Cavaliers have offered Andrew Bynum a 2-year deal. While on the Philadelphia 76ers roster for the 2012-2013 season, Bynum missed the entire season due to injuries to his knees. When he last played, he was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, and he averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks a game. When healthy, many believe that Bynum is the second best center in the league, behind the man that the Lakers traded him for last summer and lost to free agency last Friday, in Dwight Howard.
If Bynum is physically healthy, and signs with the Cavs, that might be the final piece to getting to the playoffs for the Cleveland franchise.
