How to watch the Super Bowl on Roku? Here’s 10 options for 2023

If you’re like me, you’re ready to watch the Super Bowl! Over the past few years, I have shifted all of my televisions in the house to using Roku streaming devices. If you are looking to stream the Super Bowl in 2023, you can do so via the FOX Sports App that will also include Rihanna’s bonkers halftime show and all of the commercials.

Everyone is looking to see if Jalen Hurts can continue his just phenomenal season and oust Patrick Mahomes to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Philly! We’ll see. The point of this article and why you came here; however, is to show you how to watch the Super Bowl on Roku TV.

How Can I Watch the Super Bowl on Roku?

For the 2023 Super Bowl, we’ll get the pleasure of watching the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the NFC Champion, Philadelphia Eagles.

If you are a football fanatic, the pre-game party will start at 1:00PM ET on February 12th on FOX. The kickoff for the game is at 6:30 PM ET on the same network. There will be a full day of people chatting about the game, injuries, pros and cons of each team as well as thinking of whether to bet on the Eagles or Chiefs at no verification sports betting sites.

How Do I Live Stream the Super Bowl on Roku?

If you have a Roku box or Roku TV it’s pretty straight forward. First, download the FOX Sports App to your device. Then, navigate to the “Sports experience” which will let you access the game via FOX Sports. Now, there is a catch.

You have to be subscribed to a streaming service that offers FOX as a channel. If you aren’t already signed up, you’ll have to subsciber or get a free trial to one of the following:

Don’t see these? Just search Roku’s app store or download them onto Roku. If you don’t have one of these services or don’t want to sign up to one of these services, you have two options.

  1. Sign up for a free trial on one of them that offers that option for you, or
  2. Get an OTA (over the air) antenna to plug up to your TV/Roku box to show the FOX OTA broadcast for your local region.

Some areas in the country may not offer this, so you will want to make sure to keep your receipt if you go this route. OTA broadcasts are now all digital, so if you do have this option, it will be a high-quality deal so don’t discount it.


If I am a Cable Subscriber Can I Stream on Roku?

This is easy. If you are either a Comcast or Spectrum cable user, you can stream the Super Bowl on either the Xfinity or Spectrum mobile apps on a Roku device. If you haven’t used these apps on your Roku before, then you should test them out ahead of time so you’re not rushing around on the day of the Big Game. I tried to do that the last year before I cut the cord and it was horrible.
