I had the pleasure to cover the USA Men’s National Basketball Team’s warmup game vs.  Dominican Republic at Madison Square Garden last night.

Team USA getting more and more hyped on defense as the shot clock ticks down. As Damian Lillard, DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, Klay Thompson, and Andre Drummond scramble to shut down the Dominican Republic. James Harden, Kenneth Faried, and Kyrie Irving recognize the effort and lead the cheers off the bench. USA plays great D for 22 seconds, only to be spoiled by a Francisco Garcia (Sacramento Kings) fadeaway three right in front of Team USA’s bench. Afterwards Garcia stares the bench down. Whoops.

It’s really great to see Team USA getting along so well and having fun.
