Wow. There’s getting dunked on, and then there is GETTING DUNKED ON. This video is the latter. Dwyane Wade serves up a dunk on Anderson Varejão you will be seeing for the rest of your lives. Check it out below.
I was watching this game, but stupidly I was on my laptop doing something unimportant when my TV fell over from the impact of Wade’s dunk. I quickly propped my TV back up, boop-boop-booped my Tivo and watched the dunk several times over.
After Jermaine O’Neal blocked LeBron James on one end, Wade received the ball and dribbled up court surveying the landscape.
Then Wade accelerated, but the way he was criss-crossing, I was thinking that he was going to go up, get some contact, and try one of his circus shots, but no. NO.
I think Varejão was thinking similarly as he went up to contest the shot.
But as quickly as Varejão went up to try and block the shot, he was sent to the floor like he was hit by a train.
Wade’s momentum and violent dunk had Varejão up against the basket support dazed and confused, as Wade looked out into the crowd, a bit amazed at what he just did to the poor 6-11 Brazilian.
At least Varejão can go home with the win; Cleveland went on to defeat the Miami Heat 111-104.
