The 2016 Conference USA Men’s Basketball Tournament is scheduled to start on March 8th, 2016. The 2016 edition of the tournament will take place between March 8th and March 12th, 2016 at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Southern Mississippi will not be participating in the tournament due to a self-imposed ban on postseason play putting the tournament field at 13 teams. UAB enters the postseason as the overall #1 seed followed by Middle Tennessee as the overall #2 seed. The winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid to the 2016 Men’s NCAA Basketball tournament.
