The 2016 Men’s ACC basketball tournament kicks off on March 8th, 2016. The tournament will be held between March 8-12, 2016 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
The overall number 1 seed for this year’s tourney is North Carolina, while perineal conference power Duke is the 5 seed. The University of Louisville will not be playing in this year’s tournament due to a self-imposed ban on postseason basketball play by the school. The overall winner of the conference tournament will earn an automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
