Andris Biedriņš has been slow in his return to the Golden State Warriors, playing more and more minutes since returning from injury ten games ago.

The 7-0 center from Latvia registered what may have been his breakout game to get his confidence back; last night against the Chicago Bulls, Biedriņš scored 9 points, pulled in a season-high 19 rebounds, and a blocked a career-high 8 shots.
It has been ten games in the making, and it certainly hasn’t been smooth sailing. There are a two glaring issues that need some major tuning up before Biedriņš can consistently be counted upon.
Since his return, the 23-year old has averaged 4 fouls a game and has fouled out of a couple matches, showing that he is still out of shape and trying to get his reaction time to NBA level.
The second issue is free-throw shooting, which has always been a problem for the 6-year pro.
Biedrins shot just 1-7 free throws against the Bulls last night, and since his return, had only made that one free throw. He is 1-14 this season. That’s 7.1% from the free-throw line. Maybe the Warriors can hire the Chris Dudley, who is also left=handed, to be his free-throw coach?
