In the West Playoffs
In the Western Conference, the strong of the two sides, the Phoenix Mercury is the number one seed. With superstar Diana Taurasi and newly-engaged Brittany Griner, the two along with Candace Dupree have pushed the Mercury to a league-best 27-5 record and a dominant 15-1 record at home.
The Minnesota Lynx, Los Angeles Sparks and San Antonio Stars make up the rest of the Western playoff picture.
The Lynx are the league’s most powerful offensive team anchored by the league’s leading most versatile scorer Maya Moore. Moore teams with Seimone Augustus and Lindsey Whalen to produce nearly 60 points a game.
The Los Angeles Sparks feature the scary, do-everything leadership of Candace Parker with Kristi Tolliver as L.A.’s floor general. While the San Antonio Stars snuck into the playoffs in Becky Hammon’s final season. They’ll look to be the party crashers in the 2014 WNBA playoffs.

In the East Playoffs
In the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Dream have followed Angel McCoughtry to a conference-leading 19-15 record. Though not as impressive as the Mercury, the Dream are a handful with Erika De Souza and Sancho Lyttle wo-manning an intimidating interior.
The other three Eastern Conference teams are all below .500 and they are the Chicago Sky (15-18), Indiana Fever (16-17), and Washington Mystics (16-18).
The Indiana Fever follows the WNBA veteran all-star Tamika Catchings who continues to produce. The Chicago Sky has second-year dynamo Elena Delle-Donne. And the Mystics use a balanced attack with Ivory Latta, Monique Currie, Emma Meeseeman, and Bria Hartley.
