  • Are you like me and wondering what happened to Hamed Haddadi after the Iranian center signed with the Memphis Grizzlies during the summer?  Well, according to the Tehran Times, the 7-2 Ehaddadi is playing for the Dakota Wizards of the NBDL. (Dec 13th)
  • I know it’s REALLY early returns… but Yi Jianlian is third in all-star voting!?  He is having a better season, but no way should the forward from China be ahead of Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Hedo Turkoglu, or Josh Smith?  “It’s not about skill so I’m not worried about it,” said Kevin Garnett, an 11-time All-Star. “If that’s who the fans want to see . . . I’ve served my time and had my fun at All-Star. If they want to see Yi or whoever the competition is, Paul told me it was Yi or somebody, it’s what it is. I’m enjoying this 21-2 [record].   • Seriously Manu is just better off the bench. Ginobili scores 27 points in 28 minutes, including 14  points in the final quarter, leading the Spurs to 95-89 win over Atlanta Hawks. The game also marked Tim Duncan’s 1000th game. (Dec 10th)
  • Phoenix trades Frenchman Boris Diaw (and Raja Bell) to the Bobcats for Jason Richardson. And on his way out, Boris Diaw leaves a parting shot for head coach Terry Porter on the way out, “It definitely wasn’t as fun,” Diaw told The Arizona Republic. “It wasn’t as exciting for the fans. It’s not as fun for everybody. I’ll always remember Phoenix with Mike. We went from a winning team that was the most exciting team in the league to a half-winning team that wasn’t exciting at all.” (Dec 10)

  • Okur does it again: Memo hits go-ahead runner with 1 second to go. Utah Jazz defeats Minnesota 99-96. Okur finishes with 21 points & 13 rebounds.
  • Rockets go on a 20-2 run led by Yao Ming, the 7-6 center has 24 pts and 19 rebs and teammate Luis Scola adds 12 points and 10 rebounds in 92-84 comeback win over Atlanta Hawks (Dec 9th)
  • Marbury ain’t THAT dumb: With his relationship with the Knicks continually deteriorating with every hour, supposed European business promise a 12 million € sponsorship and Real Madrid contract, but are found out to be “phonies“…  (Dec 9th)
