The 2015 AAC Basketball Tournament Brackets are now set. The tournament is scheduled to get started on March 12th, 2015 and run through March 15th, 2015 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. We have provided a free, printable version of the bracket for you to enjoy, and this will be the first postseason that includes new comers to the league in Tulsa and Tulane. Also known as the American Championship, the American Athletic Conference bases its seeding on the regular season results. The champion of the postseason tournament earns an automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Who is Favored to Win the 2015 AAC Basketball Tournament
The Larry Brown led SMU Mustangs enter the 2015 AAC Tournament as the overall #1 seed. Coach Brown has the distinction as being the only head coach to have won both an NBA title (Detroit Pistons in 2004) and an NCAA Title (Kansas Jayhawks in 1988). Other favorites in the tournament include the #2 seed, Tulsa, and the #3 seed, Cincinnati. Although the Memphis Tigers are a distant #5 seed, the Josh Pastner coached Tigers might just have a surprise up their sleeve for this postseason in the AAC.
