The NBA’s Most Popular Jerseys of 2003
On April 17, 2003, the NBA again put out their list of the NBA’s most popular jerseys based on NBA jersey sales.
Kobe Bryant took his spot back the top of the list after ceding the position earlier in this same season to Paul Pierce (who was #5 this year). This is the third consecutive season that Kobe has led the league in jersey sales.
Second on the list was Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers followed by the NBA leading scorer in Tracy McGrady of the Orlando Magic. In his third season with the Magic, McGrady averaged 32.1 points per game. Rounding out the top five and making his final appearance on the list is the league’s greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan repping his Washington Wizards jersey. The 2002-03 season was Jordan’s final season in the NBA.
