Who has the deepest roster in the Euroleague? CSKA, Barca, or… ?

Who has the strongest roster in the Euroleague?

There’s a great discussion in our Euroleague basketball forum around the league’s strongest roster. After a few powerhouses, including Fenerbahce, Barcelona and Efes, made some moves to tweak their team rosters, it’s intriguing to see which teams are the most intimidating.

Is CSKA have the most balanced roster? The Russian club boasts a big three of superstars in Milos Teodosic, Nando De Colo, and Sonny Weems.

How does CSKA’s trio stand against F.C. Barcelona’s front court of Ante Tomic, Justin Doellman and Tibor Pleiss?

Who has the strongest roster in the Euroleague now?

When talking balanced rosters, we can’t not talk about Unicaja Malaga that has maybe the most balanced scoring attack. Their starting five average between 8-13 points a game led by Ryan Toolson, Will Thomas, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas.

Just as Barca’s frontcourt may be the best in the EL, Real Madrid‘s back court is arguably the strongest in the entire league. The two Sergios: Rodriguez and Llull both have strong NBA experience and the Spanish club will go only as far as these two, along with Felipe Reyes, can lead them.

And we can’t have this discussion of the best Euroleague teams without mentioning Greek club Olympiakos led by their superstar guard Vassilis Spanoulis and Turkish
squad Fenerbahçe Ulker powered by Jan Vesely and Andrew Goudelock, or can we?

Who do you think has the strongest roster in the Euroleague now?
