The Bill Russell trophy went in the hands of Andre Iguodala who was truly the X-factor for Golden State’s winning the championship in the fashion they did. The honor makes Iguodola the first ever NBA player to become an playoff finals MVP after spending the regular season coming off the bench.
The even more interesting part was that LeBron James came in second place and if a couple more votes went his way, he could’ve become the second player in the history of the NBA to receive the award while being on the losing side. Here are the full results from the voting.
