The NBA may be the most-technologically-advanced league in the world, and thus they’re unique prepared to give their fans engaged during this time.

In addition to allowing free access to NBA League Pass earlier in the pandemic, the NBA YouTube channel has been streaming classic matches on their channel, and also making them available to watch on its website. You can even check out streamingwars.com for the full catalog of such games, but right now, we’ve listed a handful of the great NBA playoff games that have been streamed recently.

San Antonio Spurs vs Miami Heat, 2013 NBA Finals, Game 6

This game, which finished Heat 103 Spurs 100, is probably one of the greatest NBA finals games ever. It also is probably one of LeBron James’ best career performances, and also led to the game being called ‘The Headband Game’, in reference to James losing his signature headband while making a dunk with nine minutes left on the clock, and then choosing to play on without putting it back on.

Spurs were leading 77-65 at the end of the third quarter, but James sparked a comeback, scoring 11 points to make it 20-7 in the fourth quarter to the Heat. Another iconic moment took place when, with 10:30 remaining on the clock, Mike Miller’s shoe came undone but he did not have the time to lace it, so he tossed it off court, and in one shoe and one sock, received a pass from James and pulled off a three-pointer to take Miami within four points of the Spurs.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors, 2016 NBA Finals, Game 7

The game was filled with moments like these, going into overtime after with five seconds left after Ray Allen nailed a three-point basket from the right corner for Miami, and then, after Miami had taken a 103-100 lead, Chris Bosh blocked a last-second three-pointer from Danny Green to win the game and thus tie the finals 3-3, taking it to the final game of the series.

LeBron James was up against a Warriors team which had won a record 73 games during the regular season, and the deciding game of the championship certainly lived up to the billing.

Klay Thompson leveled the scores at 89-all with 4:39 left to play, and both sides’ defensive ability came to the fore thereafter as there were no scores for over three-and-a-half minutes, with James pulling off an iconic chase and block of Andre Iguodala’s layup attempt.

Kyrie Irving ultimately broke the deadlock in the final minute. On the other side, Steph Curry missed his attempt to tie the game again, with James then sealing the victory with a free throw on the final possession. This win marked the Cavaliers’ first championship since 1964, and a perfect homecoming for James.

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder, 2016 Western Conference Finals, Game 6

Oklahoma looked like taking the game and conference title away, with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in superb form. They had an eight-point lead with just 12 minutes to play, when Klay Thompson erupted. He went on the rampage, sinking 19 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Warriors to a stunning 108-101 victory.

This game is iconic as well for being Durant’s last for OKC, as after the Warriors’ loss to the Cavaliers in the final, he would be courted by Draymond Green and end up joining the Warriors as a free agent, shaking up the balance of the entire NBA.

These are just three of the best games in the NBA over the last ten years- there are many more to savior, and this time is the best time to take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the best moments that the sport has had to offer.
