What a better way to start a new era than fire the coach that brought the team to the NBA Finals couple of seasons ago. It seems like Oklahoma is looking for a tougher coach that will keep Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook during free agency in 2016. Although the team announced that this decisions is not reflections of the past season alone, it’s pretty clear that the franchise expected more in the past seasons when Oklahoma failed to match their early success and the NBA Finals in 2012.
