We couldn’t ask for a better start of the NBA Finals than last night’s matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. The game was decided in overtime where Stephen Curry and his team’s bench made sure that the Cavs can’t get a chance in the dying moments.

The difference maker between the two teams were their bench players. The Warriors bench outscored the Cavs 34 to 9, the only player that scored for the Cavaliers and was a par of the backup crew was J.R. Smith.

.

Andre Iguodala was a true difference maker with couple of big time defensive plays on LeBron James in the last five minutes of regulation and few big slams that changed the tempo of the game.

Although LeBron had one of his bet playoff performances so far with 44 points 8 rebounds 6 assists, and he had more than decent support from Timofey Mozgov and Kyrie Irving it seemed like Tristan Thompson and the rest of the Cavaliers support crew didn’t show up for this matchup.

With Irving leaving the game late in the fourth, while having 23 points 7 rebounds 6 assists and 4 steals, it seems like the Cavaliers will need an All-Star performance from players like Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova, especially on the defensive end, if they want to stand a chance against this Warriors team.
