BTW I hope we can field Marcio and Greg for this OQT. Wala namang tututol sa mga kalaban eh (outside of Asia, teams won't mind if we have the two on our lineup). Then that would clear their eligibility issues in future FIBA Asia tournaments. And Marcio is so damn accurate from three, we need that if we don't have Chan, Fonacier, Hontiveros, and, uhm, Gary David anymore.

Why are you so scared of tall players? Remember we have our tall players but they are the most useless
Yeah. Remember when Iran had Rouzbahani (sorry for the spelling) who was 7'5 back in 2007? He wasn't even used on court because it would make him too much of a liability against a faster team like us.
The taller you are, the harder you need to work to be a threat. There has not been a player like Yao Ming since 2010.

By the way, for the future, it's ok that we are grouped with New Zealand already because of the eventual merging of the Oceania-Asia regions. This early we'll know how far (or near) are we against the Kiwis. Methinks it's *not that* far.

The volume of Kiwis in US NCAA Div I (Tai etc) at least 20 players , moslty bigs and players in Europe is significantly more than Filipinos

I think we all appreciate the things you're doing for Philippine basketball, but is it safe to assume your loyalty now lies to your adopted country? You know, deducing from the way you address our NT (you're, not we're). It's perfectly understandable, though. Like they always say, you don't bite the hands that feed.
Just saying, the next time you see Mr. Analyzed here in a Gilas practice, boot him out.

guys we have to understand, he is a part of their NT.. so it is natural that he would be siding with them.. nevertheless, I do agree with NOiNU that you shouldn't be anywhere near any team practices or team meeting that Gilas will have moving forward. Well, at least until AFTER the Manila OQT.. at least both sides will not have any reason to say that you are spying for the other.

I feel like divided like when boomers face gilas in 2014 in france. I don't want to see either team loss. I'm happy and sad, happy because boomers won and sad gilas loss. But happy because for the first time in the long while our RPNT battle Australia.
