Jeonju KCC Egis is working out former NBA journeyman John Thomas. If KCC Egis likes Thomas, he will replace Lenny Daniels.

Ulsan's Moon Tae-Young has similarities to UCONN's new head coach Kevin Ollie.

Busan Sonicboom KT will have an exhibition game against the Russian club, Spartak Primorye Vladivostok. It is a friendly game in commemoration of the 20th year of the sister cities relationship of Busan and Vladivostok.

The two teams had exhibition games way back in 2007.

Changwon LG Sakers will be in Taiwan from September 22-29 for a training camp. We have an exhibition game against the SBL's Pure Youth Construction.

I am very impressed with Park Rae-Hyun's performance so far. The Changwon LG Sakers are playing in the ABA Goodwill Tournament. Park was the leading scorer on the win against the Guangdong Tigers with five three pointers for an overall score of 25. Against the BJ-League team, the Yokohama B-Corsairs, Park's clutch shot helped carried LG to victory. Most of those shots were from long range.

Park is shooting 42.9% from three point range as of the moment. Kim Jin, the head coach of the Sakers stated with a smile to the team anchor that the Sakers are expecting a big role from the rookie.

He and Byun Hyun-Soo make a very dynamic back-court.

CK, Kim Jin was the coach of the heroic team in Busan that defeated China that was led by no less than Yao Ming, right? Why did he not came back as National Coach of SK? And is Moon the coach of SK?

Kim Jin's stint with the national team has many contributing factors apart from his fall from glory. It is a common fashion to award the rights to coach the national team to the KBL championship winning head coach. So if Kim Jin wins the 2013 KBL championship with the Changwon LG Sakers, you'll most likely see him coaching for next year's FIBA Asia competitions.

Yes, Moon Kyeung-Eun is the current head coach of the Seoul SK Knights.

Thanks for the info CK. Gee, I feel old suddenly now. :p The players I used to watch (and fear) are now coaching starting with Hur, now Moon.

Overall, the ABA Goodwill Tourney was a good experience for the Changwon LG Sakers. Kim Yong-Hwan was very vocal during the huddles while rookie Park Rae-Hyun has shown that he is ready to contribute.

Rod Benson was Rod Benson, always hustling and what he lacked in height, made up with solid ground on establishing at the low post. He makes good work of his mass to box-out.

This will be an interesting season up ahead.

A nice mixtape that showcases Kim Jong-Kyu and Jang Jae-Suk of the collegiate ranks. Both are considered for the 2014 Asian Games national team buildup.

I'm having trouble finding the game times for the opening round of games that will be played this week? Could anyone please help me? Thanks

Overall, good for Busan. They will need a franchise player once Seo Jang-Hoon retires in the off-season. Kim Jun-Il is also a nice pickup. It looks like Bang Deo-Kwon's days in Busan are numbered and he could be shipped this off-season too.

Anyang KGC just keeps on adding youth. Lee Won-Tae and Kim Yon-Tae are low risk draftees. One that I like the most is Lee Jil-Woo, a young center with potential.
