I'm trying to understand...how does Dumper, a political party meant for taxi drivers, benefit from sponsoring sports teams?

UST fans calling out UP because of johnvic now they have their own enabler in their program too lol.

The NU Bulldogs figured in a tightly-fought battle against KBL team Samsung during a tune-up game in their trip to South Korea, further enforcing their budding reputation as a UAAP title contender for Season 86. 75-68 win by Seoul, As per Naveen Ganglani on X app (this naming sucks btw)

Hopefully, when elections come, taxi drivers will recall that money for their cause was spent sponsoring an amateur basketball team.

ateneo has better opponents (relatively) compared to gilas’ trainings, lol

We should just send a mix of UP and Ateneo to the worlds and we might get better results compared to the mess that is being made by the stupidity of Panlilio, Vargas, Chua, and Marcial.

The worst hypocrite is La Salle with Danding Cojuangco getting praises from the institution hahaha

Danding doesnt get badmouthed anymore because there are new targets to badmouth. Personally I think Escandor gets the most hate in the La Salle community, even more than Carpio.

why is Carpio hated? was Escandor hated before his son went to Taft?

UP and Ateneo are well-coached and well-drilled (and well managed), yes, but the only player from those teams who has a really good shot of making the final 12 is Mason Amos. Francis Lopez, well, there are better players than him at 3. As for the others, might need some time.

There's a difference though. Cojuangco is a crony, but he's not a public official.

Jonvic Remulla is a sitting public official. Dumper is an elected party list.

danding still benefitted from public funds though with all the political favors and campaign financing he has done, was a kingmaker/poet broker after edsa. No different from MVP-Salim (Suharto cronies) Plus wasnt he a ambassador during Marcos’ presidency? so technically he is a public official

anyway too OT
