UAAP season 86

^ So Balogun is the mystery SFA pictured to have joined BEBOB training in Australia. I thought he may be going to UP as the replacement for their SFA who will be graduating/completing his eligibility. That or UE who may need their own SFA for season 87. Balogun is definitely more experienced and more physically ready than the young Godspeed. Tab Baldwin is loading ip for season 87 with the young GDL, Asoro, Demisana, de Luna, Balogun, the returning Padrigao and probably Big boy Porter from AHS. Nice replacement for the departing 4-6 players at the end of season 86. Baldwin needs to find another pg and a big man scorer from his Fil-Am pipeline as most of the local blue chip recruits for season 87 may be spoken for already.

CEU should open an import agency. For some reason they have better recruiting than big schools.

CEU's making money as a farm team for the UAAP.

not just imports and not just for the UAAP. they also lost lenard santiago to NU, jhommel ancheta to CSB and ronrei tolentino to San Beda. they also almost lost franz diaz to UST. after ceu won the ucbl title with a 14-0 sweep, they have lost 5 of their core players in agunnane, balogun, tolentino, ancheta, and santiago. they even lost their coach, chico manabat.

Wonder where he'll end up. If the goal is another uaap school, adamson seems like a fit.

Per TBT, sources say he's headed to another UAAP school, KBL or B.League.

I say if the offer is there overseas, he should just take it.

would be funny if padrigao decides to enter the pba draft and he gets drafted by converge, reunion with danny i

Any UAAP school that gets Forthsky is making a mistake. Dude is not worth the headache and the student population will turn on him. PBA and Chooks 3x3 probably will deal with the backlash like they dont care although I could see Forthsky's stock dropping come draft time.

if its true then the academic ineligibility for season 86 was just pr for the kid to go out nicely. similarly to sbu’s ryan amnsali religious sabbatical reasons where the truth is he was really kicked out.

good luck to these kids and hope they find new homes that fit their lifestyle.

the academic woes was probably the last straw, that issue with Pia will forever follow forthsky and no team would want to deal with the negative publicity

he'll have a spot in the pros surely.

Having Forthsky there with the issue swept under the rug the Ateneo basketball program is hypocritical. There should have been an investigation and appropriate sanctions. The fact that it took 3 years, looks really bad. It just makes them hypocritical. Always bannering they are focused on acads when morals and responsibility was swept under the rug for 3 years. Morals and responsibility can be shelved temporarily if UAAP Championships are at stake I guess.

Did someone actually file a criminal case against him? Because if there is, dont think he can go overseas anytime soon.

cocolife and dumper party list (wtf?) also financing the Tigers

Davao takeover at espana I guess, spoils of the previous admin. So both UST and DLSU are financed by members of Duterte's entourage and SMC.

https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/...-backing-from-cocolife/277961?mibextid=Zxz2cZ

Cocolife was the main sponsor of the Red Cubs of San Beda. Its senior vice president (Otep Ronquillo) has a son (Lance 5’6” used to play for the Red Cubs) who now plays for the Tigers Cubs.

A Fil-Am guard prospect of the Red Cubs, 6’1” Shawn Pajimna, has now matriculated to UST and is in the pool of the Growling Tigers.

Cocolife, Phenom and Dumper are interconnected because of the relations to Red Cubs former manager Jarvis Co (Bedan and UST alumnus). The players he recruits ends up being signed up to Anthony Brodett’s Phenom player development and management agency. And Cocolife becomes a sponsor whichever tournament they play like the Pasig-Red Cubs in PSL U19 and Iloilo United in the MPBL.
