UAAP Season 74 (2011-2012)

UST performance can be a no surprised if that play of Fortuna as of late

Jeric Teng and Chris Camus have been very reliable all season long

and Karim Abdul

UST's success this season should be credited to Karim Abdul..no more, no less!:cool:

You're right! Coz Abdul makes all the shots; gets all the rebounds; assists; steals; and blocks. SMH UST may not have an Xs and Os type of coaching and their offense is undisciplined and more of an organized chaos type :D but they do have players that can play.....Fortuna is arguably The leagues best 1, ferrer the 3rd best rookie, teng can find ways to score and play a little d, Camus with the motor of a John havelicek, and that African beast who is still raw but already looking like the best import out there.

basketball is still a team sport last I checked.

lol lol Karim Abdul is not the most physically gifted out there he is just a full of energy and a work horse. Very productive reminds me of your player 3 years ago:D

Chris Camus -> Francis Allera

Fortuna -> Japs Cuan who shoots

Teng -> Small Ababou

Abdul -> African Jervy

depth would still be the issue of the squad

Depth? Maybe but other guys not mentioned like Ferrer, Lo, Sherrif, Afuang and Pe knows their roles in the team. I think this team can upset anybody in the Final Four even Ateneo for that matter.

lol forgot about Carmelo A:D

Oh La Salle a team that: if you divide them by three the three will go to final 4 but if you combine them to one they would not get anywhereeee:cool:

dunno Ateneo might have plans tomake it a steep ladder one:eek:

isn't Afuang out for the season after the gall bladder surgery?

Nope. He's only slated to be out for 2-3 weeks. There's a good chance, he might play tomorrow.

Afuang, himself, told that he'll play against NU after UST-AdU game.

On separate note, no sweep this season. AdU just beat ADMU earlier.

What a big win by the Soaring Falcons...they have really played their best out there! So many streaks just broken today by ADU!

"Sayang" for Ateneo. That rare opportunity to sweep the entire 14-game eliminations comes only once in a blue moon.

That Adamson half court lock down defense dictated the tempo for the Falcons. ADMU's reliance on the first option on half court offense on Greg was totally shut down by Leo Austria's brilliant half court defense. That only compounded ADMU's woes as Nico Salva struggled against Camson and Colina. I thought Brondial and Manyara did a fantastic job on Greg.

Alex Nuyles plowed down Ateneo's defense as he scored like 20 points. Nuyles toyed around the defenses put up by Kirk Long and Kiefer Ravena.

Lester Alvarez struggled in this game as he went like 0 for 6 from 3 point land. Highest lead for Adamson in this game was 20 points, 52-32 in the late 3rd quarter.
