The Federation still didn't reach an Agreement and they are discussing to Play Directly the Final 6 !! with the first 6 Teams and they are negotiating Hoops and Bejjeh to accept such move not that Hoops and Bejjeh are on Position 7-8 ! and the Fed. are deciding to to this move specially to finish the league in a short time and start preparing for the Asian Championship that will be held in Phillipines and Qualify to the World Cup !! specially in my opinion Hoops and Bejjeh got no Chance against the other teams (the others 6) !!
while the others 6 are truly fighting for the Title and all of them got chance to win the title ,so in this move the league will finish in a fast way and we can start preparing for the NT for a long Period !

FLB League: Ahmad buzzer-beater clinches issue for Riyadi against Amchit

BEIRUT, Lebanon (FLB Division A League): Egyptian Ismail Ahmad’s buzzer-beating three-pointer lifted former champions Al Riyadi Beirut to a 75-72 triumph over Amchit on Sunday thus extending the Manara giants’ run in the 2012-13 Lebanese Division A League to 12 wins in a row.

Riyadi, powered by Jean Abd El Nour’s return from injury, were on the overdrive right from the word go. Slobodan Subotic’s team, the seven-time Lebanese League champions before losing the crown to Champville last year, seemed to cruise along having built a double-digit lead (63-52) at the end of the third quarter when Amchit hit back.

Herbert Hill raised his game a couple of notches to provide support to the high-scoring fellow American Andre Emmett as the Jbeil side caused some ulcers to the Riyadi fans. Only Ahmad’s buzzer-beating stunner saved the day for Riyadi.

Ahmad finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while American Lo Woods who led Riyadi’s initial; assault had 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Abd El Nour, playing his first game in two weeks, made his mark with 14 points and 5 assists with Amir Saoud adding 15 points.

Emmett had a game-high 37 points along with 8 rebounds, while Hill contributed 17 points and 9 rebounds. Matt Freije was the highest scoring Lebanese for Amchit with 9 points.
