Don't forget 18-6 in free throws and some starnge calls always in favour of home team. I think this time they can't cry about refering

I'm not the right person to judge if the calls were strange, my perception of refs' calls is generally poor.
However, I don't think that an approx. equal number of fouls is an indication of fairness. I keep hearing this argument in local games, vs Olympiacos: Who ever loses starts talking about fewer free throws. I mean, if a team plays much more aggressively in defense than the other, I don't see why the number of free throws given should be comparable.

That said, 6 free throws is indeed very few.
Was it only me who saw very low energy in our defence tonight?

That's the worst thing.So far that's the story of this series.No matter how flattering this 2-2 looks for PAO the ball was always on Barca's court.
Depending on heroics will get you only so far.
The difference in talent is not that big and both teams suffer in the creating department.Imo Pedoulakis has decided to gamble everything on defense.D however is a matter of physical tools and will, while on the other hand a fluid offense requires chemistry and a good coach...Pedoulakis and even more so Pasqual, who's had more money to spend and more time to build, are failures.Perhaps the first one should be given more time, meaning next season but Pasqual has to go asap.

Let's hope that PAO can score more than 70 next time.

OAKA was fantastic again tonight, thoroughly enjoyed it despite the L, especially loved the support PAO got after the end of the game, one bad game can't cancel out the overall effort.

let's hope we rise to the occasion in Barcelona and give'em a good run for their money.

On the 4rth game of the series, Pedoulakis once again proved us right unfortunately. Never prepared the team for the zone, series is lost.

You're being overly harsh to Pedoulakis imo. He's managed to mold a bunch of role players into a cohesive unit; he's no Zeljko, but he exceeded expectations. Afterall, we are up against the EL's best D.

He had 60 minutes and 2 days to find a solution against a simple freaking zone I was taught when I was 14 y/o. But Pedoulakis can't figure it. Maybe we are not harsh enough.

PAO did everything he could. So far this is a big success for all; coaching team , the players, the club, the president. The team is new. No one was counting on them and managed to be here surprisingly. I'm proud for this team.

It could be 3-0 and it could be 0-3. Games were close, and Pedoulakis won the bench battle in 3 out of 4 games. Tonight, Diamantidis was out of the game, as well as the whole team. Barcelona was/is the favorite of the series.

The journey of this team was beautiful so far, and one loss cannot change everything that was made before this match. The journey continues and we will sum things up after the end of the national championship.

After all, panathinaikos earns the cup year by year (2007,2009,2011). The previous year was Olympiakos and if a greek team will manage to get the ring again, this will be a big achievement in the history of all sports (not only the basket or euroleague).

Congrats to the Barca for the win... They deserved it more and played a much better and smarter game... Pedoulakis was never able to figure out how to play against the zone defense that Barca played against him...
Moreover Diamantidis was taken out of the game mentally and psychologically due to the superb defense that was on him and this ultimately affected the whole morale of the team.... Also I have never seen such a bad shooting night from PAO players before... Damn it even Gist missed 3 dunks, any of which, would have given a huge push/lift for the team.
Game 5 is going to really tough but now Barcelona obviously has the edge playing on their home court and they are going to be more confident heading into this game.

True the fans never stopped cheering for the team even though the game was quite painful to watch being in OAKA with the disappointing performance by PAO.

Pascual came up with a high school zone defense on the middle of game 3. Pedoulakis didn't respond. Player heroics got PAO through that game.

Pascual started game 4 with the same defense and you would have thought Pedoulakis would have a better idea than the 90's concept "move the ball in the perimeter and shoot". But apparently Pedoulakis spent these 2 days sleeping.

Congrats to Barca!Deserved win.They made all the shots they were given plus some big 3s from Navarro,Huertas and Lorbek..We really couldn't win with such low percentage, especially outside the perimeter. It's unacceptable not to be able to crack a simple old school zone defense, but if you can't make any open shot it's getting really difficult..
Anyway next game in Palau and clearly Barca have the advantage but these 4 games have shown that the way these 2 teams play against each other, it's risky to make guesses.

PS1:Sofo should have played more..He was the only real threat for Barca.

PS2:This habit with OAKA must end..It's a matter of safety.25.000 in a 18.500 arena.I wonder if anyone is thinking his responsibilities in case sth happens..Plus it's silly to pay 30 euro ticket and watch the game from a corner on the hallway packed like a sardin.

PS3:Tsartsaris is getting more and more irritating over the years..He thinks he is PG. He dribbles a lot, tries to make assists in the paint He almost never posts even with weaker opponents and when he does he tries to give weird passes.

its normal fans reaction.Coach that won 2games in arrow against looked like invinsible barcelona,lost one against them and become useless This why we are called fans,we want max everytime.If you will lose one important game everyone forgets what you did before.

But im the basketball fan from neither of these teams side,and my opinnion pedoulakis did very good job this season with panathinaikos.Its very hard to replace obradovic and have worse roster by alot that he had for 10 season.Barcelona has better player hands down here,but pedoulakis is outcoaching Pasquel.Even if barcelona will win thi series,nobody from here thought that barcelona gonna play with fire like they do now.

because he coulnd defend picken roll.When Sofo is on the couart the man that he guards is going and doing pick and sofo is too slow to handle it.This why Tomic is getting easy baskets.Atleast when the last time sofo was ont he couart barcelona made a huge run and from that sofo never comeback.But panathinaikos couldnt score either way,some maybe they should use sofo more,but than tomic or lorbek would shoot 4-5 metress free jumpers.This atleast my answer why pedoulakis didnt use him more.

sofo can't play more then few minutes. they used him to much in first half.

he is to fat and out of shape. i would not be surprised if doctors put red light on his PT.

sad, he is wasting his talent with his appetite
