With all due respect to this PAO team and all they have achieved so far this season,qualifying for the F4 would be an injustice to basketball.:D

Something against Limoges??Of course not.As in football people mention Ajax of the 70's or Barca of current decade same story goes for Limoges in the 90's.
Limoges for me is a word that describes an extremely boring team that can play 110% defense but just score around 60 points and still win the games because in team sports defense gets you victories.

As for people that will start saying that series is over maybe they should wait a bit.Panathinaikos is still the favourite because they have shown that they can easily keep Barcelona close to 60 points and next time Huertas/Lorbek wont score that much

Congratulations to barca.
It was crazy to win a more quality team 3 times in less than a week.
Anyway lets go for the fifth game and whatever happens its ok.pao is succesfull either way.
 
I've been watching Panathinaikos since 1992, I can't remember a worst performance than this.
6% 3p percentage with most of the shots unguarded (until the game was cleared, then we set it to 20%). Gist failing to dunk 3 times or so. Maciulis passing to nowhere. I admit that the team lacks offensive talent, but what we witnessed today was extraordinary and I don't think it can be repeated. Sad to say, it seems that the crowd (30.000??) had a negative impact.

Congrats to Barca. I still believe that with a normal performance we'll qualify.
 
Don't forget 18-6 in free throws and some starnge calls always in favour of home team. I think this time they can't cry about refering
 
the series are not over yet by any means - these two teams are as unpredictable as they come. Barca are definitely more talented offensively, but PAO are your old school european tough guys with suffocating defense and clutch ballsy plays. If a game is within reach during closing minutes of Game 5, PAO will take it. But that means playing much better offensively than today and hoping for Barca to choke again...will they? Let's wait and see I guess:cool:

Tomic is so dominant in the paint. JCN brilliant killed us when it matters the most. Lorbek has played better and scored some points... and Huertas had his night from 3pts range. That was the kind of game they played at the SEF. Great zone defense that killed PAO.
Yes, PAO had too much pressure this night. Ukic did not play as he should to in this serie. Too much 3s and few penetrations. He's like a ghost. PAO needs some of his offensive skills. DD can't make all the shits during 5games.
Not so much post-ups played by PAO's guard since the 1st game...?
One little regret : Sofo has played his 2nd great game in euroleague this season, he made his f.t and he just played 10min ??? When Wallace and Jawai had 4fouls, Lorbek 4... PAO continued to miss 3Pts shot, maybe Sofo could have give us some points (shots or f.t). There were 5min to go and about 12pts for Barcelona...

I think pedoulakis forgot him completely at the second.major mistake
Anyway the truth is that pao couldnt adapt to zone defence and failed big time under such pressure.barca who has much more XP and quality without playing something extraordinary won easily.now its 70-30 for them.pao goes for another miracle
 
It is 2-2 and the next winner wins the ticket. Any Pao fan would have signed on for that before the series. Now Barca is favorite, as they were from the beginning, and Pao is going for another upset.

As for tonight's game. It was lost from the beginning. Pao seemed exhausted and felt the pressure. They just couldn't make it happen tonight. They can't beat Barca three times in a row within a week with only eight players in rotation. Not to mention that Barca is just an excellent team, but they didn't really play under much pressure today as they took the lead early on and Pao simply didn't have the strength to answer.

So Pao should rest and recharge its batteries for the game next Wednesday. They played two close games in Blaugrana so anything can happen. The team is a success . No one will take anything away from them.
