KT Sonicboom vs San Miguel Beermen, the first game of the EASL tournament tomorrow.

Since the skills of KT's imported players are superior to San Miguel's, KT's team is expected to win if the three referee remain neutral.

#EASL #EASLTournament

the guts of baek talking about home cooking, last year Meralco playing at home had several bad calls against them vs SK Knights, and plus the fact that South Korea is well known for home cooking decisions in the past

JMF if played right is virtually a 3rd import. Let's just hope SMB, which is expected to go deep in the playoffs, takes this seriously.

At least we know Meralco, having been eliminated from the playoffs will. AD is itching to get a title with the Bolts and AK wants to prove his worth, and the restof of the Bolts want redemption from that heartbreaking QF sweep.

MERALCO lost a couple close games last year. Let's hope they turn that into wins.

As for SMB, this will test their capability in rotating players, given that they have Game 4 on Friday. Two imports, and they may have to drop a few locals.

Looks like Tautuaa will play today.

Anosike was a beast in the first half, Junmar doing good on the defensive boards, Quincy Miller struggling on offense. SMB up by 4 at the half.

Always good for powerhouse teams to be humiliated on the home floor. Casual Fans will know other countries are good too.

Tactical immaturity being shown here by smb and pba relactancy on 2 imports because masasapawan the 14th guy of the team

SMB's firepower showed here, a. Miller just had a bad game.

Defense has some holes, though. Defending the PnR and the 3-point line, specifically.

Didn't Korea just went to their import also. Both teams relied on their imports and one in one plays. Similar to BLeague.

SMB holding back. I think the marching order by LH is to prioritize the PBA quarters. You know they were just not serious to win when JF had limited touches. Inspite of this, I also think KT was holding back because of recent injuries by Heo Hoon and Ha Yungi and they are also in preparation for the more important local tournament. If SMB were more serious, they would have gotten a more decent import

Believe me, that's not how both KT and SMB play in their respective leagues. Parang 70% lang. This was also a tryout for their imports

Regardless of circumstances, they lost and that what matters in this tournament. Every game might have one injury or they rest players. For me what they did on the court is what must be considered regardless of the teams lineup, domestic league rules and consequences.
