makes me wonder, so Ange technically has a PH passport now... does that mean he can be an Asian quota in the B League?
I also feel like were in danger of losing QMB, CJ Lane, Hepa and eventually Sage to B League.
Sir Joe,
we all know AK34 parents are both full blooded Africans
hence he ain't considered as full-blooded Asian or Hafu
I stand to be corrected on this but as far as I know when they say Asian quota
it means you are full blooded or mixed
I dunno know the other details of that "Asian Quota" provisions
but for me personally, they should revise a little bit that eligibility
to accomodate players who had no Asian blood but was naturalized during their younger years
esp. to those who literally lives, schooled and developed from their respective adopted country(s)
I think 23 yrs. of age is an ideal window for that
considering FIBA also had that 23 yr. old window to those hafu kids who decided or planning to
shift allegiance but already played in a sanctioned tourney in the youth level
in the same breath as 17 yr. old JJ Mandaquit, 19 yr. old Dylan Harper and 24 yr, old Kamaka Hepa
now back to AK34, I think he obtained his PH passport when he is barely 23 yrs. old
as for QMB, CJ Lane and Kamaka I don't think Plipinas basketball are in danger of losing them due to technicality
considering they've already obtained there respective PH docs
as for 20 yr. old Sage Tolentino, I dunno if his camp esp. the family had already coordinated to those US based
sports organization to assist them facilitating the PH docs of the kid
in the same situation as Philippine born Maria Pizzaro and two sons
indeed legworks and paperworks is an onion be it you are a citizen of a First World country(s) or not
everyone must follow the process and avoid too much complaining, rumbling or whining
we are not living in a perfect world so we really need to "Trust the Process".
