commendable that toroman can deny his fellow countryman of the job. it's very professional of him.

walang palakasan,

walang palakasan,

his coaching prestige is on the line

all of this time its rajko who is choosy in our naturalization candidate I cannot blame him he is tasked to lead a transition team to the promised land maybe disorienting the mainstream filipino basketball fans on what is the bigger picture.

In 2012 Pilipinas has the big possibility of joining Olympics the olympic qualifier no more no less but that exposure will help them in the long run:D:D

walang palakasan,

well, if he don't get the best one possible, gilas might fail miserably on their goals and toroman will be the primary target of critics and disgruntled fans alike :D

and he is right. milan is not the best fit for the team's need. we need a younger version of jason dixon. a much taller version of art long or julius nwosu.

It's just sad. I won't bet that SBP would find another naturalization candidate as dedicated, passionate and with such great work ethics such as Milan.

Why won't they keep Milan on their roster until they really find what they are looking for? Which I'm not that positive and optimistic about.

kasi para kang bumili ng shorts pero ang kailangan mo talaga pantalon. tapos itatapon mo na ung short kapag nakabili ka na ng pantalon.

trans: we need a better player.
2nd translation: it's like buying shorts when you really need pants, then throwing it away after buying what you really need.

Please provide a correct translation. --Mod

But in this case, bibili ka palang ng pantalon, itatapon mo na yung shorts na suot mo. Kaya hubo kang uuwi ng bahay. Kahiya-hiya ba ang dating.

Trans: Better decisions could have been made.

This is one of the times we sorely miss Nardy's valuable inputs.

Per unconfirmed reports, this is not just the issue (player naturalizing) that causes some stir in the SBP specifically something concerning Coach Rajko Toroman.

Although we can only speculate at this moment, practically speaking, this is kind of disheartening taking these issues on it's face value but hopefully and prayerfully whatever the real score is, they fix it, and fix it real good.

don't get me wrong, I like Milan a lot. I just think that he is not good enough, and making him stay with the team will cost $$$$, it's not free.
Also, hindi pa nila binibili ung short, nasa fitting room pa lang, so may extra kang suot na short at di ka uuwi ng hubo :p

trans for the mods: they were checking if the shorts fit well, they haven't bought it yet.

Bamba Fall

Very clever you there. >_<

But what I meant was Coach Toro could have waited for the replacement before giving the low down on Milan. What if negotiations again fail. Then on SBP will look for another one, but again to no avail?

Another option would be keeping 2 naturalization candidates.

Hi to everyone... This is my first post. I've been following Philippine basketball here in IBN.

What made me post actually is that I saw Milan in NAIA airport. We (with my cousins) accompanied my mom going abroad when I saw him at the airport, and recognized him. We called him and waived at us, then we cheered for team pilipinas then he made thumbs-up sign to us. What I forgot is to take picture with him. What saddens me is that I think he'll be leaving Phil... He's a nice guy with nice attitude...

i guess most of the forumers here in IBN likes Milan including me, but just in case
SG will have a hard time looking for a bigger and better naturalize player i hope Toroman will give Milan a second chance
