Hi IBN forumers I'm Myron20. I registered just now but I've been reading stuff here in IBN for a couple of months now. I read in shamsports.com that players like greg steimsma, brian butch, chris hunter and dwayne jones are not guaranteed of any contract. I don't doubt marcus douthit's ability to lead our team and to be honest I'm impressed with the way he plays but isnt it tempting to offer these NBDL guys to play for our country? Dwayne Jones could have been a monster in our team plus he is still young and can lead our team in the years to come. It's just my opinion and you are free to comment

@ everyone: I don't know if it's just me but i really feel something special about this team. I can't fully describe it but all i can say is that, after so many years of seeing our national team being destroyed, for the first time, I feel that there is hope that we can finally go back to the Olympics. Any opinion?

None taken but you see i have done my out most best ( 1,000% effort ) not to post useless and out of topic opinion here, if only this "dudes" ( see no name calling from me anymore ) only bothers to read my latest posts i already backed out from my earlier opinion of replacing toroman

but this "dudes" just could't let it go, it seems toroman is their god and whoever criticize him and does not praise him must be crucified .

i think these "dudes" havent heard about freedom of speech and im sure they dont have a clue about freedom of religion. for them you have to be a member of their religion (where toroman is god ) or else

My support for smart gilas is greater than or at least equal than all these "dudes" combined, i just dont wish to join them in hanging on toromans jock 24/7

for me the best replacement is C.J. Giles 6-11, 240 24 Oregon State Al Riyadi (Lebanon)

even if we get him next year or even on the last minute he already knows how to play on toromans system and already familiar with 85% of gilas players

i guess SBP will live and die with the naturalized import because of the main reason, money..SBP can't afford to have a spare import..

I think it's practical to stick to one player but it's ideal to have a spare..in regards to the money reason..I'm not sure since i'm not a Gilas insider.

the monetary and political compensation that UC and don Ramon is asking in exchange for junmar is more expensive than having 5 extra import on standby

I definitely would contact Dwayne Jones again if we have the luxury of having 2 candidates at a time since he isn't guaranteed a contract (meaning there is a big chance he will be dropped from the list) by the Phoenix Suns as stated by Shamports.com He's younger, a monster rebounder but Douthit's edge over him is that we already know that he has the maturity on and off the court. I'm happy with the way Douthit played last time. He fits the system very well since he has Euroleague experience These are my opinions and you are free to comment
