End of the Game .....
Sala club (Morocco) Destroyed Riyadi from Lebanon (Title Holders:eek:) Easily..
this is the second consecutive loss for Riyadi !

Sala lead the game from the beginning and if the Refereeing was Okay and not biased i guess Sala won by bigger Margin .... Say thanks to Referees for preventing a Humiliation from Riyadi club :D haha

Where is my Lebanese Friends here , am not hearing a Voice .... where are those who made from Riyadi an NBA Team !? aha they got Lost NOW !

Congrats for Champville on their important win today. It wasn't an easy game but they managed to make a come back in the second half and get the win... Khatib was really great with 33 points. Thompson had a very good game as well with 20 points. I like the hussle of Nadim Hawi who was able to somehow miss the gap that was left with Lee Benson's injury... It looked quite serious and he couldn't walk on his leg as he left the court so he had to be carried off court :(...

As for Riyadi I don't know what to say other than once again they played a very horrible game even though they were just a bit better than last night....

I could definitely see how much the absence of Ali Mahmoud affects the team... Without him, due to his injury, Riyadi didn't have the right chemistry and looked lost on the court with a lot of turnovers and no proper system.

Mohamad Ibrahim, due to some bad calls from the ref at the beginning of the game, took it personal and started arguing with the ref at every single call and that made him lose his concentration. Amir played extensive minutes in the game yet he doesn't have the required experience to play such a tough game....I don't know why coach Abou Chacra didn't use a bigger rotation of players...

Moreover Sala is a real tough team to play against (play very physical and have very tough defense) and they actually will be competing for this championship. They also as happen to be one of the best African teams.

But for sure if this is how Riyadi will be playing next week in the Asian Cup Championship in Philippines next week then they are in huge trouble and would probably not even qualify to the next rounds of the competition.

I'll hopefully upload some photos from today's games here tomorrow.

Yesterday Riyadi also had a bad Game ,and lost again ... i don t know what s happening to Riyadi ,but all what i can say it s the maximum of Over Confidence ,they are playing like a practice not a game ,no spirit no fighting nothing just to play and consider that the win will come easily ,hope Riyadi do their best and return to their real level (the level of FLB-WABA ...)
FAC Should now play in the roster of WABA or Roster of FLB

As For Champville they still the best team in the tournament ,Khatib is doing everything ,there is no team in the Championship who can stop this player and that will be a hard mission on all the Teams

Gd luck For Riyadi and Champville

Some pics from yesterdays' games for Champville vs. Bani Yas and Riyadi vs. Sal

By the way Loren Woods was almost going to climb into the stands to fight with the Morrocan fans but was held back by his team mates....
They apparently said some very nice words to him  (The fans were then sent to the left side of the stadium so that they wouldn't be sitting behind the Riyadi bench but rather the Sala bench

Saturday May 21:

Sahel (Kuwait) 98-104 Ahli Sadab (Oman)

Karekh (Iraq) 73-96 Champville (Lebanon)

Upcoming Game:
ASU (Jordan) v/s Beni Yas (UAE) 6h00PM

so far Group 1 looks like this

1. Sala 3-0 (+7 +2 +17 = 26)
2. Sharjah 2-1 (+21 -2 +13 = 32)
3. Riyadi 1-2 (+16 -4 -17 = -5)
4. Gharrafa 1-2 (-7 +4 -13 = -16)
5. Dar el Baydaa 0-2 (-16 -21 = -37)

Remaining Games (Not in Order)

Riyadi vs Sharjah
Sala vs Dar el Baydaa
Dar el Baydaa vs Gharrafa

Riyadi must win +37/ 2 = 18.5 pts on Sharjah to secure the 2nd spot (hard task) = No more 100 % Lebanese Final like last 2 years. Semi finals, QF or maybe not even face to face game

ASU annihilated Hosts Bani Yas easily 90-66 to send a Warning to everybody in this Competition that ASU were kidding before :D

Enver Soobzkov was the man of the Match with about 6 shots from the Arc ... Jameel Watkins & Ryan Forehan-Kelly had a very Good Game specially Watkins who dominated the Rebounds . ASU where playing against the Imports of Bani Yas nothing else and without these Imports may ASU hit a Record in this Championship !
