Winners here are ROS, Alaska and Phoenix.. they get what they wanted.. Although SMC's farm teams made a good draft picking..
Ginebra needs SG? Stanley Pringle and Scottie Thompson are waving at you. SMB didn’t need this draft, they will just wait for two years and the top picks of this draft(much better with 2 years experience in PBA) will be traded to them. Next year, Roosevelt Adams will be traded to them and the following year it will be Munzon and Heading that will be traded to SMb. And also by 2023, Malonzo and Navarro will be traded by Northport to Ginebra..

Pringle is a class of its own. Most guards at early 30's will most likely experience injuries that will slow them down.

On CS, Asi and Reavis, they are bigmen and in PBA, it does not matter if a bigman is quick or slow for as long as they can either fight for rebounds or score down low. The same cannot be said to guards as they age.

IMO, he should have give a shot either Holmqvist or Troy Rike, instead. Sorry but if they think those two bigs have low sealing, i feel that Pasaol has a much lower sealing unless he miraculously play the guard and actually moves like a guard.
did he change how he plays? he played at the wings with UE. and randomly goes inside if he can bully defenders. he also showed he can handle the ball and set his teammates if someone can actually score. something that didnt happen when he was with UE.

          • It really isn’t about quickness in the PBA with the way things are officiated. Pasaol would be fine as 3.

You can’t be serious with Rike.

            • Well, Alaska seems put up some competitive team out there. They have now a group of blue chip bigs (Adamos, Ebona, Tratter and Brondial). Hoping that Danny I can impart some of his basketball knowledge to these bigs.

At the 2 and 3, the team seems to have a good depth as well, Stockton, Herndorn, Teng, DiGregorio, Ahanmisi and Banal.

              Taha 6'7
              Adamos 6'7
              Brondial 6'5
              Ebona 6'5
              Tratter 6'5
              Banal 6'3
              Browne 6'3
              Racal 6'2
              Teng 6'2
              Herndorn 6'2
              Stockton 6'2
              Ahanmisi 6'2
              DiGregorio 6'1
              Casio 5'9
              Marcelino 5'9

Brondial's a UFA. Taha and Adamos provide insurance, though.

Sayang naman. Brondial is a workhorse. He can provide teams with some quality minutes as a back up bigman.

Anyway, Alaska to be looking for replacements here.

Alaska has to make a decision on their fil foreigns. From your list it looks like they have 7 at this moment.

Count Tratter out as he was born in Siniloan, Laguna.

Yeah but that is still 6 and fil foreign are limited to 5 per team so someone is gonna be either a reserve or a free agent for them

Do they need to relwase someone? Or they can trade?

For me, i will make Taha a reserve and sign Brondial. Why? there will be a duplication if you put Taha there since Alaska already have Adamos, Ebona, Tratter and Brondial (if signed).

He doesn't look interested when he's not holding the ball. Heck he even pushes teammates just to pad his rebounding stats.. they got a lot of holes in the roster and they get another undersized bigman

Maybe Chot feels like they have a chance now that Junemar isn't 100%? Williams is the most PBA ready player in the lottery
Maybe Meralco is destined to suck & tank this season so that MVP group will have about 2 teams (Blackwater as its farm team & Meralco) in the top 4 teams for the rookie draft next year. Maybe BW getting next year's No. 1 pick & Meralco getting either the 3rd or 4th pick. Next year's draft might include Baltazar, Thirdy, Kobe Paras, maybe even AJ Edu. So it would take another brilliant tactical move by the MVP group once again to keep the Gilas cadets from the snares of the devil SMC.

As ridiculous as it is, ganoon talaga eh. With the way things are going on in the PBA, its hard to build a championship team without getting your hands dirty.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
