If I were to guess, he'd be included. Ditto with Barroca.

My hunch is this would be the final lineup:

    Blatche, Fajardo, Aguilar, Rosario, Erram
    Norwood, Lassiter, Pogoy, Perez
    Ravena, Barroca, Lee
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

So you are saying them going on an 8 game winning streak and winning against Australia twice makes them the same level as us?

Four 6'8+ guys, Four 6'4-6'6 guys, and four 6'0-6'3 guys seems like the ideal lineup--only 1 player under six feet if he is really exceptional like RJ Abbarientos. Very doable by 2023.

their winning streak did not include us but its the other way around.
im basing it on your contention that the phl is a 2nd tier team thus making jpn which havent won against us for the past 3-4 yrs as also a 2nd tier team in asia until proven wrong.
and they only won against the aussies once the last time i checked.

My bad I think they only won once too. First tier teams to me are still Iran, Korea and China.

Your using the argument because one made it via an exception (not on talent), therefor the other should as well but on talent merits, it's flawed thinking.
If your case is freaks can make it to the NBA for some unique business merit then no argument I agree with you..
But we're talking about purely NBA talent or not. IT'S simple really if you really believe sincerely he's overlooked, then by all means make a campaign in NBA forums that he is

                        • Tell me how Phil is top 3 (1st tier) using all teams FiBA results and individual output (NBA, Euroleague etc) (not including naturalize as that's not program produced)

                            Just did a rough..stocktake last 5 years...

2019 completed- Asia Pacific qualifiers rank. 1. Aus……. 7 Phil
                            2018 Asian games - 1China, 2Iran , 3.Korea .... Phil (5th)?
                            2017 FIBA Asia cup placings 1. Aus……….Phil (6th) ?
2015 FIBA Asia : 1. China.. 2. Phil (no Australia and NZ)
                            2014 Asian Games- 1. Korea…………….Phil (7th ?
2014 WC- NZ (2nd round), Aust (win loss record?) … Gilas 1 win

NBA players (eligible only- regular season) in history- Aus: Over 15? NZ: 3 China: 4? Japan : 3? Iran: 1

                            * Phil - Lack of prep and politicial infighting.. ( yes let's use that as an excuse in official records LOL) Seriously though - while this prep etc issues are part of program and team rankings, it should't effect the individual player output # - Like Adams hates BBNZ (politics whatever) but he's a product output of NZ

You can compare him to someone like Tyler Ulis, a decorated college player but didn't quite pan out in the NBA. He was a bust but he was an NBA talent at one point, which is what I am saying here. Jayson Castro would never have the chance or opportunity to make it to the NBA because of these guys like Ulis who are plenty in the states. There is no way of telling Castro would have had done worse or better than him, but had he been states based (with the talent that he have as a finished product when the statement was made), a call up is not out of the equation.
Tyler Ulis was too small for the NBA. As a Suns fan I hated it that he got drafted only because he's Booker's buddy. He was the SEC's defensive player of the year yet he was getting abused on that end because of his size. And he can't get his shot off on offense. Then again he was supposed to be a pass first PG who can't see behind all the tall trees. Players around his size just rarely succeed.

                              • Objectively looking at the stocktake i think Korea is dropped from top 3 ( if Asia Pacific) , just based on total results and outputs... to be fair i think China is in top 3 ( 2018 Asia gold -- and this years WC heavy Asia favorites.. plus all the NBA presence.... it's fair enough)
