It's quite unfortunate but I just got word there's a good chance Arnold Van Opstal won't be able to suit up for us this coming season due to "incomplete requirements" from DLSZ. Let's just hope that one way or another, things get sorted out because losing a rare gem of a talent like him would be a devastating setback to our program.

No such issues for AVO. He has been registered in the Fil-Oil lineup because all is clear with him already. He woudnt have left for vacation in Australia if he had any pending issues.

remember many of the recruits are still finishing all their necessary papers and requirements still.

Sara is in DLSU but will play for the youth team this year, this is very good as he will gain alot of experience and not be on the bench.

As for Vigil he is with DLSU. if hell be inserted in the lineup lets just wait till the 3rd game.

Only pending issues are for Bringas but pending on the finals weeks results.

Glad to see that AVO is finally done with high school. I have good insider information that he had struggles with his grades these past few terms.

Like arvies's case some had issues maintaining their grades and handle the demands of varsity duties. Thats why he wasnt attending practises at taft before due to him concentrating on his school work.

Him being put in the Fil-Oil lineup just settles the issue of his eligibility.

Hoping now that Bringas will pass all his end of term exams.

Just been hearing that Indeed Vigil is having some issue with his requirements at JRU so most probably the reason for his now omission from the Fil-Oil lineup. Most probably he will be a summer grad.

CAn anyone confirm 100% the status of Sara? as now ive heard despite His advicers DLSU decision San Beda has given a hands off warning.

any updates on AVO and Vigil now? AVO's been replaced by Mendoza already in the Filoil line-up, but will he suit up for the Archers in the UAAP?

Not true. It was the kid's and his handler's decision to go to DLSU since San Beda wasn't really in hot pursuit of him. And after the Holy Week, he/they started looking for him with intent of recruiting him and of course, by then, he was gone and has already committed with DLSU.

Haaayyyyyy.....

AVO passed the DLSUCET but has "incomplete requirements" from DLSZ, he has to get his act together first academically before he'll be elevated to Team A. But he had already returned from his Australian vacation and should have joined the Archers practices. Louie is also in the same predicament.

Coach Dindo is closely monitoring all the academic performances of his players and would not give special treatments, this was evidenced by Arvie Bringas being left out of the team even though older brother and former La Salle Coach Franz furiously pursued Arvie last year.

thanks sir. hope they work hard enough so that we can have them in the team come UAAP.

With Vosotros,Tampus,Dela Paz and the returing LA Revilla. Assuming that Vigil and Sara do end up enrolling with DLSU.

Then they will have the most fearsome backout rotation for the next 4-5 years.
