I don't underestimate these players as they have all had solid careers throughout their lives. I just don't believe the Knicks made a good decision by getting all these old players now. Amare Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, Baron Davis, Iman Shumpert, and Tyson Chandler all spent time nursing injuries last season and that is why I am pretty sure that health will be a major factor for this Knicks team... Moreover the medical staff of the Knicks will be in for a nightmare especially considering that the Knicks is now officially the oldest team (regarding the age of their players) in NBA history!

I'm sure we all agree, that there would have been better and younger players out there during the offseason, but the Knicks didn't have many possibilities due to their cap. I think they made the best out of what they had available. There was interest in many other players, but they simply couldn't pay them enough to actually get them to sign. So they decided to bring in plenty of experience and toughness. If these guys can manage to stay fairly healthy, this could be an interesting season. The team has improved in my eyes, although with very little time available. As a serious title thread I can't yet imagine them anyway, but I'm very curious to see the outcome of this.
