That's a great story. Ataman does have an unshakeable belief and he transmits that to his teams.

It must have given you warm feelings to see him talking with Micic after the game? :) Hopefully security dealt with Rakocevic.

True. 3D is our all time Great but Sloukas wins his 3rd EL with 3 teams. I don't think anyone ever did this. I know Spanoulis, Siskauskas, Bodiroga did it with 2 teams.

We were suffering in the 1st half and Sloukas clawed back the -14 points difference scoring 11. In the 2nd we were stuck with RM's zone defence and again Sloukas buried 2 daggers in RM'S back with cold blooded 3's whilst marked.

Diamantidis is special, but so is Sloukas apparently. The man has huge games when it mattered the most. I think it's fair to include him in discussions next to Diamantidis, Spanoulis, Papaloukas.

All of them were/are great but Diamantidis > Papaloukas >Spanoulis > Sloukas > Calathes > Zisis.

I cant remember Sloukas being a winner type player but today he was great. Chapeau!

Really? I mean some nba trash Kendrick Nunn became best player after few months.

Euroleague is a good product only for fans of the participants. This organization needs some changes in near future...

The guy should write an autobiography one day, it won't be a boring one. :D

I did not see their interaction, but saras probably took notice of that as a sure sign of Micic's coming to PAO this summer.
Seeing Micic at the courtside yeah made me wistful for the good old days.

I agree on both. the EL is special because there is no other organization that makes us care that much, pumps up our emotions this way, regardless of the quality.
 
Ataman shows what a great coach he Is. Great european style team builder , great offensive perimetral org. His conf press after series vs maccabi in Greece, was absurd, but what a great coach

congrats to Panathinaikos for the seventh star......really couldn't stand to see Llull and Rudy lift it again.
Pao was the most aggressive team out of the 4 and deservedly takes the title.
Congratulations to PAO friends and especially to Paspalj and Edgar who have been commenting all year.
Olympiacos was inferior to my personal ambitions and did not deserve anything better in the final 4. Nevertheless, the team for another year made its effort and overall I consider it successful. For me, it is important to be in the best teams and at some point you will be vindicated. Unfortunately, only Pao has seven out of eight finals. and kudos to them for that.
I think that in Olympiacos there will be a lot of grumbling because our fans are purely football fans and cannot understand what excesses the team is doing.
Congratulations to Pao again from an Olympiacos pure basketball fan.....we are not so many, 4-5 thousand max.​

Thank you for your kind words.

I appreciate what Oly is trying to do but I wish they would (if they can) spend a little bit more to bring one or two players that can take over a game with their scoring instinct. I don't understand why Cannan was out for so many 4th quarters this year. Oly with Nunn would have been a lethal combo imo.

We managed to finish 2nd in regular season, against all odds, qualify to F4 and win the favorite for the title, Real!

7 titles / 12 participations to F4
7/8 F4 finals
And we keep going..
