with the way the PBA has scheduled the games of the smart-gilas team, i dont think their games will be televised live...too bad for the fanboys...you better find time to watch them live at the venue...i expect them to bash the PBA anew as usual....

Able to trace where the tickets are, just got my tickets awhile ago, the patron and lower box tickets are available at the PBA Office, its located inside the Ford Libis Parking Compound (186 E Rodriguez Jr Ave, Libis, QC) that is directly across Gerry's Grill. Tel# (632) 638-1815 to 17.

Are there still enough tickets for the patron and lower box?

When I picked-up my tickets a few minutes after 5pm, the "manong" at the ticket booth said there are still a lot of seats available. But I do encourage those who want to get Patron and Lower Box Tickets to go to the PBA Office ASAP before the teams and sponsors get their respective allocations just to be safe.

dang, ur lucky sir. im thinking of leaving my work early this monday (my work is up to 8:30 pm) but since work was suspended last monday i can't do it anymore. too bad i'll miss the game between the powerade and gilas :(.

nwei, im expecting that the pba games of gilas will be better anyway since pba teams will play better if the games have bearing so i'd just wait for the philippine cup.

to those who won't be able to purchase "better seats", don't whine. we should be thankful we can still afford to watch games instead of waiting for ration from gov't.

For those who are here in Manila and nearby areas who were lucky enough to be spared from ondoy and who are free on monday please do watch live. You will help more if you watch it live than just watching on television.

while this charity game is a worthy endeavor, people can have their own way of helping. in my workplace for example, we have given canned goods, clothes, noodles, etc while others gave cash as part of our workplace's fundrive. pls do not insinuate that a fan needs to go there live in order to help. there's nothing wrong if they choose to stay at home and watch in on tv as long as they have given help in some other ways.

those who can go, go. you'll be entertained and you'll be able to help at the same time. :)

so it will not be shown live? because you said 6pm and the first game starts at 5pm right?

i hope its not live so i can still get to see the main game after work:cool:

but if its live, its fine. im sure there'll be a replay of the main game at least.

I'm glad the organizers used their heads and not listen to people who seem to have problem with Smart Gilas games being televised.

:D

Inspite of your opposition earlier, the Smart Gilas vs Powerade game will be televised LOL, too bad for you.

Thanks for the Update sir!!! i've been very busy hope their still left tickets for me and my brother..

there's none. i know what you meant. if only i could, i would go also. but i can't so i just texted my friends who are free by 5pm and who reside in qc so they could go watch it live. too bad, it seems i won't be able to see it, live or televised (not unless there's a replay at 11pm at basketball tv)

i was not referring to the gilas-powerade game, your highness...have you seen the PBA schedule this coming season? smart-gilas is scheduled the first game of a tripleheader starting at 2:30 PM...

Right. They scheduled it at 230 PM. Thats not good for PBA teams who are used to playing late in the afternoon. There is such a thing being used to schedules.

is this true to all games of gilas?does not matter. watching live is better. i watch pba games live in almost the same frequency as i watch it on tv, and that's in spite of residing in LP (imagine my happiness if games are in cuneta :D).

but with basketball tv on the house, i still think those games will be aired. what you have there are two commercial products playing. this is the pba. they play for marketing through entertainment. its bad business not to show them. maybe not live but it does not matter. for gilas, its not about being in tv, its about competing and winning.

but the problem here is if BTV or CS9 has a timeslot at 2:30 PM?

i think its just home tv shopping. or maybe btv can show in replay at 11pm where they usually replay one of the twin games for the day.

but in away its good for GILAS as some international games are sked early in the afternoon and even in the morning. The GILAS boys bodies would get used to playing actual games any time of the day.

Is this their line-up for monday's game?

1. Mark Barroca
2. JV Casio
3. Chris Tiu
4. JR Cawaling
5. Aldrech Ramos
6. Jason Ballesteros
7. Magi Sison
8. RJ Jazul
9. Rey Guevarra
10. Dylan Ababou
11. Japeth Aguilar
12. CJ Giles

Plus the two fil-aussies
