Bjelica's improvement is outstanding. Look at this clutch time runner. From a sissy and soft player to a real leader. Can't be explained by words.
You are crazy if you ever thought he is a sissy. He is tough as nails.
Are you watching the "MOST FAKE MVP OF THE HISTORY" ??
16x9x4 stats
He was like that in his first year in Laboral.
Gasol with a great block on Raduljica and on the other end scored easily over him..
him just showing why he is old and washed up.
with 34 on the back still the best european center.
That's ancient history. He was what 20-21yrs old. He is extremely hard working player in the offseason. I have been watching him play for a long time and every single year you can see improvement across the board in his skill. I think he works hard on all aspects of the game, that's why he is such an all-around beast.
LOL
Vučević is montenegrin anyway..

No idea what they've been up with in that possesion.Bjelica crushed Mirotić on various possesions and that's the end of the story.
Congrats Serbia, very well deserved showed the ability to play various playing styles and learned during the game which options brought succes, something I really missed with Spain. Raduljica is dissapointing in some ways, but Serbia has enough depth to overcome that.
Hated the commentators on Slo TV, first time ever they've seen Ribas on court, as if bball weren't their job.
He was sissy before he came to Fenerbahçe. I wrote "Sissy Bjelica" many times here![]()
As soon as he trained under Obradovic, he transformed into a very different player.

I really missed some system within Spain. If you ask me, I'd run PnR through Teo and Raduljica defending just about every time they're on court. Various switches for Mirotić/Pau or Reyes under the rim to create missmatches... but than again as you said the energy was not there, they might have been trying some stuff, but I haven't noticed it. While we're at it, Bjelica even if I don't consider him as some excelent defender ussualy, was a poison for Mirotić on the defensive side as well, as far as my count goes, Mirotič was mostly scoring on others, at least that part of Spanish plan (i suppose) was present there to some degree and for some limited time span.
Spain does tend to switch one gear up when it matters however, you can't play succesfull basketball when your scoring depends on streaks and most often that streak even being connected to succesfull defense to a large degree + some 1 on 1 solutions that might get you somewhere, but unless Dirk in his prime is the one doing it, that somewhere won't be near the medals imo.
Serbia obviously has fans in the arena, 3-4,5 great players they can rely on in clutch situations, some others just as importantly that are good doing their roles and is able to play with a lots of variety in game, which is also ussualy the trademark for succesfull teams. I don't think games vs. Turkey, Italy or Germany will be easy, but Serbia just made a big step towards winning the group B.
