Preparation Games for Eurobasket 2011

  • Thread starter Thread starter DEEP ISTANBUL2
  • Start date Start date
Today Spain-Bulgaria. I think Spain will use the bech more, as Bulgaria is a mid-level class team and the presure of the result is not so big like against France and Lithuania.
What do you say guys?

Canada swept Belgium 79-74 and 74-68.

Scores for the second game don't add up correctly but that's what the site says.

Toxicity- Yeah, you would think Boss man Simone P. would crack the whip a bit, maybe he still will. Belli needs to swallow the ego a bit and do what's best for the team. And to me, that's being the Mr X off the bench

I was expecting something more from Pianigiani as a coach on Belinelli... it seems he's hard only with the less-talented guys.
I agree. Given his dominance in the Italian league as a coach I thought he would felt himself more powerful in the NT than he looks.

is there any offic. page for tournament in GB?

And they are mormon or smthing like that

I don't quite understand you.

1) if you think about Utah
Brigham Young University is located in state of Utah. But not all people in Utah are Mormons. Nor all Mormons live in Utah.

2) if you think about BYU
It is private university (not state university ) and religious university. I'm not sure how exactly their religion is called.

3) if you think about Kreso Cosic
He was Mormon. Let me ask Mr. Google ... googl, googl, googl ...
"During his time at the Brigham Young University, Cosic converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and later served as the LDS presiding priesthood holder in post-communist Croatia. "

It's the church of latter day saints, the religion Mormons practice, so yes BYU is a Mormon university as he said.

Officially, he is not playing until the weekend because he is busy running his basketball camp. In reality...who knows?

Deng is expected to arrive from his youth training camp in Loughborough in time to play some part in this week's tournament before the weekend, but no timetable has yet been set with the EuroBasket itself only two weeks away.

"There is nothing specific, no," Finch said. "Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later."

Kosarka.si claims it's the first win of Croatia over Serbia ever? Now I know it's been long, but this long...

In any case, Croatia has beaten Slovenia and Serbia this time, ending two long year streaks. For anyone believing this is coincidence, it's not, it's just what some of us were talking 1-2 weeks ago. Many questions remain, as ussual, yet so far so good for the Croats... they don't belong into the group of "borderline-7th place-contenders" most people would characterise them with, not this time, let alone on pair either with this years Greece or Italy, which particulary bothered me with some of the predictions and comparisons.

we never beat them in official game 0:3 ( 97., 01. and 11. ).

on preparation games is 3:2 for serbs ( 00., 05. and 11.: for croatia 07. and 11. )

we beat them on some preparation tournament in bormio.

basically we beat them only when there is not slavko cvitkovic to jinx us. croatia wil win medal when he retire :D
