I saw the game, Calathes was mostly like in the eurobasket. Unreliable offensively, but good passing game, nice field vision, goes for the rebound, and looks concentrated on defense - with 1-2 slips.
I wouldn't worry about shooting too much. It's a matter of practice and getting used to new styles and expectations.
Btw, I thought it was a bit strange that Calathes and DD were the guard duo much of the time. Calathes had the role of PG, DD shooting guard - a bit odd IMO; DD is not a shooting guard. It looked more like 2 PG and no shooting guard. It worked well, though
