ALBA Berlin signed Kenny Adeleke
Not the guy who will push ALBA to a completly new level, but it seems like he could bring back some of the stuff we lost with the injury of Patrick Femerling.
Edit: He will not be with ALBA in Tel Aviv on thursday.

Does anyone in Germany or Spain remember Anton Gavel as a player? Can he play the PG position?

He is playing in Aris yeah. I thought he was a point-guard but I haven't seen him being used as one at all.. it's strange.

he can play as point guard, but his stronger options are shooting and defense. perhaps he is not the leader that a playmaker is supposed to be, at least in his stage in Murcia.

In Zagreb are crazy or what??
The have already released DeMarcus Nelson after less than a week because of the signing of Mulaomerovic.

Is there another hidden reason?

He was on a try-out and didn't pass it. They signed Damir Mulaomerović instead. They also had Jamel Thomas and Michael Jenkins on try-out, both also didn't pass the one week try-out.

Forgive me if it was already posted before, but why did he left/was fired by Bologna?

A lot of reasons.
He played very very well. He did not satisfied coaching staff, president and fans.
He has so much talent but at the same time he is too crazy, in and outiside the court. In Bologna are almost partying for his release.
If he had had during his career his head on the neck he would have been a crack but unfortunately he doesn't have,

His back is seriously damaged (it is rumored he has hernia), he should take a rest for a while because this makes him slower and a bit weak on the knees and this is particularly evident when he shoots. Plus, he's a jerk. Simply, doesn't care about his team, winning or losing is the same for him, has problems on and off the court and this happened also in Italy. What a bust.

Played for the Giessen 46ers together with Chuck Eidson (Rytas) and Adam Chubb (Alba) and he lead them to the German Final 4 ( 4th place at the end after Alba, Brose, Artland Dragons). He became Rookie of the Year and made good stats. Good court overview and aswell passing skills.

Here are the stats of Gavel 05-06. Just the Regular Season because 46ers didn't reach the playoffs.

Edit: In Giessen I guess he just played the PG position.

Maurice Taylor, just signed by Milano for the remainder of the season (but will play only in Euroleague), said there's a chance he will stay with the team for 2 more years if he gets an Italian passport (his grandma's from Crotone, Italy).
