I would say yes to Vladimir Micov most def, but Greece is a huge basketball nation with so many players.
I think we will never agree on this, we are both right and wrong i guess. To me Clehethas is like Makaleb. They are products of some others no matter how much patriotic stuff you put into this case.

According to "Przeglad Sportowy" polish portal Bo McCalebb is the best naturalized player on the 2013 Eurobasket.
TOP 10
1. Bo McCalebb - Boshko Mekelebovski (MKD)
2. Rickey Hickam (GEO)
3. Thomas Kelati (POL)
4. Eugene "Pooh" Jeter (UKR)
5. Dontaye Draper (CRO)
6. Travis Diener (ITA)
7. Alexander Tyus (ISR)
8. Emir Preldzic (TUR)
9. Tyrese Rice (MNE)
10. Zackary Wright (BIH)
Oh my goodness, there are already even lists for the best naturalised... This is getting ridiculous.
I can tolerate players who have some sort of connection to the country they represent, it's the full blooded americans who couldn't even find the country they're representing on a map, that I have problem with. It just makes NT competition lose a part of it's appeal and special atmosphere.
they prob have been naturalised. or wos chlethas born with greek passport in his hand lol my greek mate.
iundertand you littel bit, we have diaspora too such as vladimir micov cska moscow. but on paper diaspora aint greeks.
Your point being?I am sure Portugal has one.
It's a little bit more complex in the state of Israel,Alex Tyus for example is married to an Israeli woman, and he has been playing in Israel before he was naturalized.
In Israel's case you can't really say that we naturalize just like any other national basketball teams in Europe.

Alex Tyus has discovered Judaism,Judaism isn't a missionary religion which means you really have to work hard and show you are capable to follow the rules of Judaism, after it you just might be able to convert to Judaism.
Our last player who became naturalized was David Blu which was a Jew from the states, which means that he can immigrate to Israel and apply for citizenship, and that's what he did, because he is Jewish he has the right of return,as I wrote before in Alex's situation is a bit more complicated but he worked hard to convert to Judaism and he deserves to play for the Israeli national team.
In countries like Georgia for example they can naturalize a player immediately and they don't have to present explanations, the best example is Ricky Hickman.
You muts be comedian i laughed when i read those words in bold especially about how hard your country worked to make Alex a jewI believe if somebody give as lebron james and we would work hard on making him lithuanian and eventually we would fail im sure about it
You can try as hard as you want you wont make black men to white
If Michael Jackson with his miliards fail to do that,it means its not possible ! ;D
Btw i think if not your remarks that Alex is not a jew I wouldnt even notice that watching israel team games im sure about it you did got job to hide that![]()
Well I laughed hard from your comment as well but then while reading it I understood you're an ignorant and it made me feel bad for you.
Our country doesn't need to work hard to make someone its civilian,Alex Tyus is the one working hard to be an Israeli civilian and to be a Jew,unlike Christianity and Islam Judaism isn't a missionary religion, you have no Jewish roots and you want to be a Jew you have to work hard in order to prove how bad you want it.
This is where I understood you are an ignorant,Israel is a country with a varied population, there are Jews from all over the world in small Israel there are hundreds of thousands of Ethiopian Jews, now don't get me wrong here Tyus isn't Ethiopian, but reading your bizzare comment which says Israel is only a country of white people is pathetic, you have serious lack of knowledge about Israel,so don't embarrass yourself here in public,as a matter of fact Jews aren't part of the white people, but Semitic people.
I'm not sure yet if Alex is a Jew but I know he is in process to convert to Judaism and it takes time.

Firstly Your are so smart that you cant even understand when other people is jokingSecondly all countries have variuos papuliation of people, but they just live in those countries and are consider foreigners. If you think that your example of naturalization is any diference than other americans you are funny, its same shit he is american, born there, become what he is there and now when is good athlete he suddenly become very good Judaist yeah right
He can be the best judaist in entire israel its doesnt change anything he is afro-american and all his roots leads to africa and america. I really doubt that alex atleast can talk your language and can bet my money he can write like you can ...This is same cheating as other examples when afro-americans plays in eurochamp.Pardon but I will support those couple left countries that still have pride to play their own boys and all those idiotic storys about how your naturalise player are bond and connect to your country you can lie to fiba, not to basketball fans.
