In the meantime, another award for UConn's recruit Katie Lou Samuelson, named Morgan Wootten PoY. She succeeds Ariel Atkins (2014), Taya Reimer (2013) and Breanna Stewart (2012).

Yet another award won by UConn recruit Katie Lou Samuelson, named Gatorade PoY.

Here's a list of 2015-class top international players bound to NCAA.

Curiously, the only uncommited player so far is #1 Cecilia Zandalasini, Italy, who played in the 2014-15 season with pro club team Famila Schio (where Chiney Ogwumike started the season before getting injured) but with no pay. She therefore is still eligible to play in NCAA.

Napheesa Collier (UConn) and Taja Cole (Louisville) named co-MVP at the 1st Girls Jordan Classic game.

Collier led East with 22 pts and 13 reb, while West's Cole finished with a game-high 26 pts (and 10/13 FG shooting), but hero was UNC's recruit Stephanie Watts who scored two threes in the final seconds to give East the final lead over West, 76-75.

PoY Katie Lou Samuelson sat out the game for a minor injury.

2016 #8 prospect Natalie Chou will join #1 Lauren Cox at Baylor. Both have played together for USA Basketball U17 WC in 2014.

Senior Jackie Young, a Notre Dame signee, is averaging nearly 40 ppg and 10 rpg for Princeton HS, IN, which is 10-0 in the season. A big, athletic combo-guard at 6-1, Young attended USA Basketball 2014 U17 WC team trials.

Another senior guard, Whitney Creech signed by Western Kentucky, is a scoring machine averaging 50.9 ppg and 19.4 rpg (if stats are reliable) after 5 games with Jenkins HS of Jenkins, KY.

Junior guard Destiny Littleton, who played last summer with US U16 team at Fiba Americas, leads undefeated Bishop's HS of La Jolla, CA, with 41.3 ppg and 10.2 rpg, after 5 games.

Stanford bound Anna Wilson (2016-class) and soph Aquira DeCosta are the 2015 Nike TOC MVPs, as they led Bellevue and St. Mary's to victory in their respective divisions. St. Mary's is ESPN current #1 team on national rankings.
Both Wilson (2014 U17 WC gold) and DeCosta (2015 U16 Fiba Americas bronze) earned previous USA Basketball international experience.

Notre Dame recruit Jackie Young broke Indiana scoring record, boys and girls, that was previously held by Damon Bailey. A 5-11 guard, Young is averaging 37.8ppg in 22 games.

Yet another Duke recruit with injury problems.
After the cases of Lynee Belton and especially of Rebecca Greenwell (plagued by multiple injuries), another Blue Devil prospect is struggling to recover.
2017-class PG Mikayla Boykin (Clinton HS, NC) was rated among the top freshmen prospects in the nation and had committed to Duke back in 2014. During that summer she tore her ACL & MCL and missed the enitire sophomore season. Boykin was among USA Basketball invitees to the U16 trials in 2015 springtime, but couldn't attend as she was still recovering. Unfortunately she has not even played a game in the current season, though she was expected to come back late in January. Hope she will be back soon and healthy.

Freshman guard Cali Konek (Imani Christian Academy HS of Pittsburgh) is the 2nd leading scorer in the nation with 45.9ppg and follows Western Kentucky recruit Whitney Creech, who has averaged 50.9ppg in the season.

Two Notre Dame recruits, Erin Boley and Jackie Young have been named among the Naismith Trophy five finalists. Boley earned silver at the 2015 3x3 U18 WC and Young averaged nearly 35ppg this season, with a 61% FG accuracy.

Other finalists named:

Lauren Cox (Baylor)
Crystal Dangerfield (UConn)
Joyner Holmes (Texas)
