All-time Indiana state leading scorer Jackie Young awarded the Naismith Trophy PoY.

Young and finalist Erin Boley will attend Notre Dame next season.

Duke commit Leaonna Odom scored 33 pts helping Chaminade to California title over previously undefeated Miramonte.
The losers were led by still uncommitted Sabrina Ionescu triple-double.

Sabrina Ionescu, the only uncommitted player at the 2016 McDonald's All-American game, led West to an OT victory over East, 97-88, earning MVP and scoring honors.
With 25 points (seven threes) she also broke the previous scoring record held by Elizabeth Williams since 2011 with 23.
East was paced by Amber Ramirez, a TCU signee, with 24 points (and five threes), while UConn commit Crytsal Dangerfield dished out six assists.

Texas' Joyner Holmes and Notre Dame's Erin Boley named MVP at the Jordan Brand Classic 2016 game.
Amber Ramirez (TCU recruit) led West to victory 100-94, and topped all scorers with 23 pts.

UConn quite low ranked, with just one top recruit, Crystal Dangerfield (the obvious replacement of Moriah Jefferson).

Top international recruits:

The list is headed by Aislinn Konig, who was one of the best from Canadian team that finished second at the 2016 U18 Fiba Americas tournament. Other teammates Mikaela Brewer, Kendra Van Leeuwen, Halle Bovell.

International flavor at Univesity of Oregon. Besides five players from Australia, Canada and Spain already in the roster, Ducks got the commitment from 2017 recruits Satou Sabally (Ger) and Aina Ayuso (Esp). Sabally is an athletic g/f who was named MVP at the 2014 U16 Div.B Euro tournament and guard Ayuso was one of the best for Spanish team at the 2016 U17 WC.

Alyssa Jerome and Hailey Brown, two of the top Canadian junior NT players, picked US colleges for the 2017-18 season. Both are forwards, and Jerome chose Stanford while Brown committed to Michigan.
