Class 2013 signing guide and commitment summary.

Worth to remark that 13 out of the top15 players were included in various USA Basketball junior/cadet international teams.

After a super 2012 recruiting campaign UConn has got the commitment of just a 2013 single player so far...

University of California has signed Belgian guard Hind Ben Abdelkader for the 2013-14 season. Abdelkader was the top scorer (19.4ppg) at the 2012 U17 World's championship and was named the 2011 U16 Euro tournament MVP, winning the silver for Belgium.

2013 Duke University recruit Becca Greenwell scored 51 pts for her school Owensboro Catholic, all 3-pointers, setting a national (HS) record with 17 baskets made beyond the arc.
Greenwell is the current U17 World champion (2012) and has just played 6 games this season, recovering from a second knee injury after she suffered a torn ACL late in the summer of 2011 at the 3x3 U18 World championships.

Jordin Canada and Recee Caldwell, two of the best 2014 point guards, committed to UCLA Bruins.
Both players were teammates in the 2011 USA cadet team that took the gold at the U16 Fiba Americas.

2013 Georgia Tech recruit Kaela Davis won the 3pt shootout contest at the McDonald's All American event.

...and North Carolina commit Jessica Washington won the skills competition, even faster than the boys winner !

More news here .

2013 Top Ten recruit Jannah Tucker was headed to U of Tennessee (along with Mercedes Russell and Jardan Reynolds to form a formidable freshmen trio) but didn't enroll at college beginning of July for personal reasons.
Since then no more news were available about Tucker, a former U16/18 USA Basketball player, and just recently it appeared from this discussion forum that she could have been victim of repeated domestic violence. News to be verified, of course.

Tennessee will start the 2013-14 season with 10 players and is currently trying to pursue its 2014-15 recruiting campaign (last commitment by 2014 #5 recruit Jaime Nared).
