frtom what I am seeing on TV, cyril massoud is everything but a center. he has the skills of a forward. It is a shame to put him on 5 just because there is no taller player in the team.

totally right, cyril masoud isn't great but very good, concedering his age (still young) he can improve his jump shot which gonna turn him to great SF specially that he's not skinny, again cyril is not a C at all he is a SF imho.
abboudy el farkh did not show what i expect from him but still am not gonna judge him based on 1 game only cuz as u said dani the guy has a vision on the court, COSTY CODSY impressed me
, he just need to keep up the good work and improve himself and i promis u guyz he'll be a big thing in lebanon and the region.hey dani i need your opinion in the best roster from the high schools champioship semifinalists, thx mate.

well that always happened in lebanon.i had a friend who was 188 cm tall and used to play as center for his school and for the private club lol
because his jump was soooo high and their was no taller players in the teams!!!!!.suddenly when lebanon started to make huge results in 2001 it started to sound way funny.right nowadays a worldwide PG is averaging more then 185 cm!, a center less then 210 cm is considered somehow short!

PG : Costy Coudsy , although many consider him as a combo guard but the guy must train to play the one.
SG : Julian Khaweja , he's good.Teamwork player with good 3pt shooting and finish under the basketball.
SF: Aboudy El Farekh, this guy is only 16 years.Don't forget,he was out for like 6 months and he's just getting back to his real level.
PF : Cyril Massaoud , good rebounder !!!
C : Yorgo Abi Tayeh , not a bad center

Tarek Dagher can't be here for WABA, Saoudi and Raad are both good but Ramzi El Amin is better as Point guard from what some of those who played with the 3 of them said.
Walid Saoudi plays as a shooting guard also.

20 players were selected so far, from Tripoli(till now): Tarek Merehbi(PG/SG 180 Cm 93) Abd Bakri (PG), Yahyaa Raad (PG/SG 92) Tongui Osman (SG 94), Walid Saoudi (SG/PG 178 Cm 92) Malek Hijazi(F/C 93) Ziad El Ali(PG/93).
I guess only Tarek Merehbi(U16 NT captain and top scorer) secured a spot in the final roster from those players, knowing that his teammate in the U16 Tongui Osman was always special in the eyes of Coach Paul Caughter who stated it clear more than one time, this guy is going to be one of the best guards in Lebanon if not the best of them all.

Tarek can't make it although i believe if the federation calls and put a pressure on the player,he might join!
However the guy is now playing College Basketball with Butte despite being only 16
anw to be honest with u , the absence of Tarek won't be a big damage in the presence of very talented guards like Tarek Merahbi,Costy Koudsy,Ramzi El Amin,Hassan Dandash ...
Abt Ahmad, i just was talking to him w inchalla theres big hope he might join us during Asia , and Willy Bechara got a positive answer from his school to let him play for Lebanon during Waba next month.
